(US) The model can be found in many outlets—the instore magazine is an effective way to communicate messages to you customers and keep that relationship going long after the visit or purchase.

Sam Goody is a the US version of the UK's HMV and have recently partnered with Community Service Organisation Do Something to produce their instore mag, BUILD.

'BUILD magazine marries entertainment with philanthropy, creating an interesting and inspiring read for youth,' said Musicland VP of Marketing Brian Miller. 'The magazine will complement Sam Goody's core customer, teens and tweens.'

Do Something inspires, supports and celebrates young people changing their world. More than 4 million kids have participated in Do Something programs since it was founded in 1993. Membership is open to all young people online free of charge.
