Action Network offers its users the tools to make contact, post invites and events for people to get involved in local campaigns.

A great resource for local campaigners or anyone who wants to get involved locally and doesn't know where to start—Phatgnat would like to see a 'youth' version of this though, specifically focusing on empowering young people to participate. The BBC should've partnered with 'The Year Of The Volunteer'… a missed opportunity maybe?
