Scottish Youth Theatre Gets Home
(UK) After 28 years the Scottish Youth Theatre has finally got a home at the old Sheriff Court building in Glasgow.
Developers were only given planning permission on the grounds they gave a quarter of the space to a cultural organisation. It cost £3m to create the space to house the theatre, which had to find a third of the money itself.
It will be the UK's first purpose-built theatre complex for young people.
