Choose Breakfast
(US) The Choose Breakfast campaign is spear-headed by General Mills—creator of many breakfast cereals including Honey Nut Cheerios, Cinnamon Toast Crunch, Lucky Charms, Cocoa Puffs and Trix.
Obviously focused on getting kids eat a balanced breakfast, the ads and website promote healthy eating but doesn't have a public sector partner.
Phatgnat thinks General Mills missed an obvious opportunity here. By partnering with a national charity or government department, it would ensure its campaign and message is given credible weight and credence. They could have even gone one setp further and toured the nations schools with healthy eating workshops with free samples of their products…
Next time General Mills, come to Phatgnat.
