(UK) The bank Lloyds TSB has launched Note for Note which aims to bring music to life for young people. The nationwide scheme offers young people the chance to enjoy a whole range of musical experiences, such as, instruments, workshops and even concerts.
Lloyds are asking their customers to support a school of their choice by donating a few pennies a month or just donate to the Music Boost Fund—this supports schools facing challenging circumstances and/or special needs and will be administered by The EMI Music Sound Foundation.
Lloyds will then add up all the donations at the end of the year and will match every penny given ' with a commitment to give £3m in 2005.
