Can You Hear Me?
(BT) BT are into their 3rd year of the Big Listen campaign—a week long series of events which has obviously developed from their Seen & Heard research—the campaign aims to enable young people to be heard by encouraging adults to listen.
I like the Big Breakfast's idea, creating a forum for young people to directly question the decision makers. Some of my past experiences/successes with young people and have been through getting them in the same room as those with the power to answer their 'call'.
Not too sure about the Celebrity Phone Auctions though—the phones are awful but as long as they raise money for Childline then who cares!
It's a great campaign but one which I only came across by chance. I have seen no media coverage or news reports of the events/campaign—surely this type of scheme should be integrated into the mainstream marketing communications of the company?
I hope BT follows up on this campaign with a report on the results—be great to read about the impact this positive campaign is trying to achieve…
