Frugal Teens
(US) Reveries has an insightful piece about how US teens are becoming more and more thrifty with their money. Spending by teenagers has dropped four percent in the last year to $158 million and young people are utilising online retail outlets and second-hand stores for the purchases.
Which is in stark contrast to the annual youth report from GfK NOP, who describes how young Americans are embracing individualism and also have a lot more money to spend.
