UK School Junk Food Ban
(UK) Governer Schwarzenegger has already banned junk food from the schools in his state and it seems the UK will be following suit. The Education Secretary, Ruth Kelly, has announced a total ban on junk foods in the nations schools, plus vending machines will now be banned from stocking sweets, crisps and high-sugar drinks.
FANTASTIC!
So, will this now create opportunities for 'healthy' food and drink brands to populate the space now left? It seems to make sense… Fizzy Fruit anyone?
