Nokia Works With Football Idols
(AFR) Nokia's latest community activity in Africa aims to use the influence of football heroes to bring HIV education to young people.
Nokia says 'We believe in investing in our shared future, using our strengths—connecting and communicating—to help young people grow…Leadership for Health improves young people's leadership, time, and project management skills, as well as aiding the development of their creativity, initiative, and self-confidence. These youth leaders will in turn train 900 local football captains to deliver the AIDS/HIV prevention message to their peers, who look up to these popular idols.'
Nokia partners with the International Youth Foundation to run the Make a Connection programme. They want your views on their website now.
