RollerWarehouse

rollerwarehouse

(US) I got an email from Rick who runs an extreme skating company called RollerWarehouse letting me know about their nice little new marketing strategy.

They have created a 'ticker' for their customers (who fall mainly in the youth category) to be pasted into the myspace.com profiles—check out the ticker here. The news highlighted link directly back to the RollerWarehouse weblog.

They haven't stopped there, as anyone who has it on their site will be able to get a 5% doscount on their purchases. This little development has already given Rick a significant increase in sales.

Fantastically simple and effective. Now if they also offered another 5% of the price of those purchases to go into a community youth project then that would be even better.
