State Farm

sflogo

(US) State Farm (US based insurers) have created a 'Youth Advisory Board' who gets to decide where $5 million worth of grants goes.

The money is for student-led community projects across the country but it doesn't stop there. The young people who sit on the board receive generous remuneration packages—one-year members receive $5,000 scholarships, and two-year members receive $3,000 scholarships for their first year and $5,000 grants for their second year of service.

Impressive stuff!
