MTV Film Competition

48fest

(WORLD) I wrote about this last year—MTV creating a video compeition to raise awareness of HIV and AIDS as part of their Staying Alive campaign.

However, this year they are doing it differently.

They have a new partner in UNESCO and have developed a specific programme entitled forty | eight | fest

Georgia Arnold, Vice President, Public Affairs, MTV Networks International:

At MTV, we believe one of the strongest ways to deliver HIV and AIDS prevention messages is to empower our viewers to talk about HIV and AIDS, enable them to use their creativity, and give them a platform to share their voice with their peers.

Nice to see the evolvement and continuing commitment to the cause.
