Get A (Second) Life
(WORLD) I covered in a previous post about how one non-profit has raised $11,000 in the virtual world of Second Life. Well it seems another has had similar results.
The American Cancer Society raised over $40,000 through a Second Life Relay for Life. With brands like American Apparel opening retails stores in the virtual world, how long before brands start creating spaces under their 'community investment'/'corporate social responsibility'/'cause-related marketing' banner?
Damn—shouldv'e saved that for a Phatgnat Challenge!
