Power Users
(US) Who do you think is driving change in the classrooms—Teachers? School boards/governors? Local education authorities? Government policy?
According to some new research it's the 'Power Uers' (not too sure about the name here folks). These tech-savy, plugged-in, online 10-15 year olds whose grasp of technology is also driving real change in the teaching methods and strategies in the classroom. Among the survey's findings:
69 percent of respondents believe Power Users influence what is being taught in the classroom, and 66 percent said they influence teaching methods.
And check out Apples contribution to the cause.
