The Big Boost

bigboost

(UK) Launched at the end of last year, 'The Big Boost' aims to help young people get their community ideas of the ground. Funded by the National Lottery with grants available from £250 to £5,000.

Check out the examples page for some great illustrations of what projects some young people are already doing.

Don't know why the Lottery didn't just expand the YouthBank model which is very effective (as young people are at the heart of the decision making process and which already is Lottery-funded).
