My Fellow Bloggers
Even though weblogs are as common as teenagers wearing hoodies, I am still constantly trying to educate people/associates/colleagues/family members/strangers on trains about their benefits. I have recently been getting quite a few queries from people looking for information, and finding my usual response is to point them to one/some of the blogs I monitor.
So here is my attempt to highlight just a few of my favourites (which are always changing depending on the weather, my current needs and what pants I'm wearing). Here comes the knowledge transfer:
—PSFK is run by Piers (and Simon) and is a global trend collaborative, basically posting about trends from all over this fair planet. (You can also find me on there doing some 'moonlight-posting');
—The DeHavilland weblog is written by Brett and focuses on that very interesting space between business and education;
—Apophenia a Ph.D. student at SIMS-UC Berkeley and a brain the size of a planet;
—Check out David and the gang at Howies, an example of how a brand is blogging effectively and simply;
—Another example of a brand blogging is WeAreAiko, has nothing to do with Phatgnat but man I love to max the credit cards at Nikos store;
—Masheduptown is where I go for some tunes to chair-dance to:
—Josh Shipp is pure inspiration and I'm meeting him in a couple of weeks time during his trip to the UK;
—Youth Media Reporter and Youth Learn brings us intelligent youth debate;
—If you're looking for brand news then check out Lucians Agenda Inc;
—Remember when you were a kid and you used ot love writing on walls? The Wooster Collective brings it all flooding back;
—Hugh MacLeod still leads the blogging pack;
—And last but certainly not least is Christian, whose Think:Lab blog has the tagline "considering the future of learning and the environments that shape educational engagement", it's pure gold!
I have nearly 80 RSS feeds on my aggregator so if I left you please don't take it personally, just blog about it ;-)
