Not A Problem But A Challenge
Recently, Phatgnat devised and developed a project proposal for a major fashion brand—well actually it wasn't one proposal it was four as the ideas just kept on coming. Unfortunately, today I had notification that the client was not going to invest and adopt any of them—obviously dissapointing but part of the process in my attempt to deliver something totally unique.
I've always understood this was going to be a long process, one of education and learning: educating our potential clients on our services (after all we are totally distinct as no-one is offering what I am) and learning ourselves as we forge and occupy a new 'space'.
The title of this post sums it up for me—'not a problem but a challenge' is how I (Phatgnat) thinks. I take from the experience the lesson and motivation to continue with my quest to develop something special for brands and companies which is of benefit to them, and equally as important, to the young people and public sector groups involved.
This post was originally written in September but remained unpublished. The reason for publishing it now is I'm starting to understand and learn how I learn more from my 'downs' than my 'ups'.
