The Phatgnat Youth Report - Revisited
Downloaded nearly 2,000 times since being published in October 2005, the Phatgnat Youth Report 2005 has certainly proved popular. The report has been linked to and syndicated in numerous places, but the original motivation behind it was simple—I couldn't find any research asking young people what the influencing factors are behind their purchasing decisions (which included ethical and community factors), so I decided to undertake some myself.
I'm now planning this years research so would really appreciate if you, my readers, would answer the following:
—what can I improve on or do more/less from last years report?
—should I offer a UK perspective or stick with global?
—what areas did I miss out on from last years report?
—what would you prefer: an interactive website or short movie (as part of disseminating the qualitative results)?
—how much would be a fair price to sell the full report for?
Are you a brand and would like to consider supporting or 'sponsoring' the research in some way (last year, to motivate young people to fill out the online form I got 'freebies' from interested brands)? Maybe you administer/manage a large (online) network of young people? Would love to hear from you.
