Giving Winners And Losers
(WORLD) All news is not bad news and here's a post to prove it!
My good friend Joe over on the Seflish Giving website has highlighted a recent study which projects that cause marketing spending will rise 20.5 percent to $1.3 billion this year, making cause marketing the fastest growing segment of sponsorship.
I also noted this Yahoo article saying the news media likes hearing about corporates who invest in their community.
Whilst over at the Cause Marketing Forum they have also announced that a new study has shown that Corporate Foundations gave a record $3.6 Billion in 2005.
Staying with the Cause Marketing Forum, they recently honoured brands in their 2006 Cause Marketing Halo Awards.
Those are the winners obviously, the losers? Well, all those brands who are thinking community investments or philanthropy programmes are still not for them.
