(UK) If you are like me, a child of the 70s and 80s then you'll remember John Craven and especially Newsround—a childrens news programme which was amazing.

Well they are now producing a new 'investigative' arm, executive producer Roy Milani explains why:

A few years back we introduced Newsround Extra, an occasional series of 10-minute films on a particular topic. Recent Extras have covered computer gaming, depression and Asbos. The time now seems right to do something more in-depth in a half-hour format.

A reflection of the sophistication of how young people consume the media me thinks.
